Accreditation
St. John Fisher University Wegmans School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and registered with the New York State Education Department (NYSED). The program currently meets Nurse Practitioner requirements for New York state, though other states may have additional or different requirements for licensure.
Graduates are eligible for New York State and national certification as Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (AGPCNP-BC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (A-GNP).
