The IHP’s clinical placement model — 100% program-arranged preceptors across 800+ sites including MGH, Brigham & Women’s, and Boston Children’s Hospital — removes one of the most common stressors of NP education entirely.
These programs are best suited for nurses who want deep dual-specialty clinical preparation and guaranteed clinical placement at premier Boston-area institutions.
Post-BSN MS – Dual AGPCNP / Women’s Health NP
The Post-BSN MS Dual AGPCNP/Women’s Health is estimated at approximately $109K in tuition and per-credit fees. That figure is based on 61 credits at ~$1,786/credit effective rate ($1,661 tuition + $75 general student fee + $50 technology fee).

CAS Post-MSN – Dual AGPCNP/Women’s Health NP
The CAS is estimated at approximately ~$79K in tuition and per-credit fees.
That figure is based on 54 credits at the effective CAS rate of ~$1,458/credit ($1,333 CAS tuition + $75 general student fee + $50 technology fee).
The program takes approximately 2 years to complete.
A gap analysis at matriculation determines whether NP 715N, NP 762N, and NP 739 are required. Students with equivalent prior coursework may have these waived, reducing both the total credit load and overall cost.
CAS Post-MSN Curriculum
The CAS Post-MSN baseline totals 54 credit hours before any gap analysis waivers. Here is how the program is structured:
- Nurses whose prior MSN covered equivalent pathophysiology, health assessment, and pharmacology may have those foundational credits waived, reducing the total credit load.
- The specialty sequence runs Adult-Gerontology Primary Care theory I–III and Women’s Health theory I–II concurrently across five terms.
- Each theory sequence is paired with dedicated practicum courses — three levels of Adult-Gerontology Primary Care practicum and three levels of Women’s Health practicum.
Year I, Term I — Fall (up to 6 cr., subject to gap analysis):
- NP 715N – Advanced Pathophysiology (3 cr.) — may be waived
