MSN-AGPCNP Clinicals

The MSN-AGPCNP program requires 800 total clinical hours completed across three clinical courses:

MSN-AGPCNP Admissions

Associate Degree in Nursing to MSN Entry:

  • ADN from regionally accredited institution and accredited nursing program
  • 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA preferred
  • Active unencumbered RN license
  • Complete 15 bridge credit hours with grade B or better
  • College-level statistics course completed prior to start
  • General education courses may be required depending on prior undergraduate coursework

Non-Nursing Bachelor’s to MSN Entry:

  • Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution
  • 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA preferred
  • Active unencumbered RN license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Complete 15 bridge credit hours with grade B or better
  • College-level statistics course completed prior to start
  • General education courses not required due to prior bachelor’s degree

Bachelor of Science in Nursing to MSN Entry:

Post-Master’s Certificate – Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Certificate Curriculum

The 21-42 credit Post-Master’s Certificate offers two entry tracks:

  • Entry One for MSN-prepared RNs seeking NP status (30-42 credits over 18-22 months)
  • Entry Two for MSN-prepared NPs expanding practice with additional specialty (21-42 credits over 14-22 months)

Certificate Clinicals

Post-Master’s Certificate requires 800 clinical hours completed through three clinical concentration courses with practicum seminars. Clinical coordinators provide placement assistance while students maintain role in finding own placements.

Students complete clinical rotations in varied settings including long-term care facilities, hospices, primary care practices, specialty clinics (rheumatology, cardiology, pulmonary), house call practices, and palliative care facilities.

No campus visit required as program can be completed 100% online.

Students encouraged to complete practicum outside current workplace with faculty approval option for completing hours at work.

Certificate Admissions

Entry One (MSN-prepared RN seeking NP status):

  • MSN degree from regionally accredited institution and accredited program

Tuition

Graduate MSN tuition is $1,025 per credit hour with $165 nursing clinical fee for Castle Branch.

Total program costs range from $39,975-$64,575 for MSN depending on entry point (39-63 credits) and $21,525-$43,050 for Post-Master’s Certificate depending on entry track (21-42 credits).

Students may transfer up to 9 graduate credits from regionally accredited institution and accredited program (three credits each, final grade B- or better, conditions may apply).

Regis offers one-time 1-credit Rise at Regis Scholarship valued at $1,025 for eligible spring starters.

Multiple tuition discounts available including 10%-25% for partner employer employees, 15% for federal government employees and active/reserve military/veterans, and 10% for Regis alumni with previous degree.

Regis discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or scholarships (some exceptions may apply).
