USF AGPCNP Programs

University of South Florida (USF) Health College of Nursing offers three Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) tracks:

  • Master of Science in Nursing – AGPCNP (BSN entry)
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice – AGPCNP (BSN to DNP)
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice – AGPCNP (MSN to DNP, post-master’s)

All three tracks are offered through USF’s Tampa campus in a hybrid format, with the majority of coursework delivered online and all clinical placements completed in Florida.

Program Tracks Overview

ProgramEst. Tuition (FL Resident)Est. Duration
MSN AGPCNP (BSN entry)~$24,591~2.5–3 years
BS-DNP AGPCNP~$33,220~3.5–4 years (11 semesters)
MSN-DNP AGPCNP (post-master’s)~$13,374 (31 cr. minimum)~1.5–2 years

USF is CCNE-accredited, ranked among Florida’s leading nursing programs, and awarded over $730,000 in private scholarship funding in 2024–2025.

A notable program feature is the new graduate pathway available for BSN-entry students with fewer than 12 months of RN experience — a lighter course-load option that allows newly licensed nurses to continue gaining experience while enrolled.
